Dr. Wack is not (yet) well known in all European Countries, but it has been around for many years in the world of cleaning products. The company was founded back in 1975. In 1982, the bicycle cleaning line was set up with F100. In addition to bicycle cleaning, Dr. Wack about another three lines of maintenance products. These are products for motorcycles, cars and precision parts. For all of these industries, Dr. Wack applies the same principle: a continuous process of innovation to pursue the highest quality and material compatibility.
When the company's founder, Dr. Oskar Kurt Wack, who started developing chemical cleaning agents for stainless steel cooking pots in Viernheim (state of Hesse) in 1975, was already able to draw on his experience in the field of cleaning agents. He was before the creation of Dr. Wack is involved in the development of Mister Proper, the iconic household cleaning product from the American company Procter & Gamble. He focused on the creation of the formula.
It would be with the founding of Dr. Wack another seven years before the launch of the F100 bike cleaner was a fact. In the intervening years, the company moved to Ingolstadt, where it is still located today, and launched the first alloy wheel cleaner and the first engine cleaner. With the arrival of the F100 line in 1982, the company responded to the specific needs of male and female cyclists forty years ago. Dr. Wack managed to combine material compatibility and strong cleaning power with a new, patented gel formula.
The maintenance products from Dr. Wack are characterized by high quality, effectiveness and innovativeness. With the F100 and F100 Bio line, the company offers bicycle care products of the highest level that also take the environment into account. The bicycle product range extends from complete cleaning products and lubricating products for the chain to care and conservation products for the entire bicycle. Dr. With the complete line, Wack wants to ensure that cyclists can use the bicycle for a long time and carefree and that the bicycle retains its value.
In February of this year, Dr. Wack broke ground for a new headquarters in Baar-Ebenhausen near Ingolstadt. This step was inevitable after the success and growth of recent years. The family business, now run by the second generation, has reached the limits of its old headquarters and has therefore decided to build a completely new building. A 60,000 square meter building for production and administration is scheduled to be completed at the new location by the end of 2023. In comparison, that is three times as much space as is currently available. Soon 400 employees will be able to work.
F100 is now known throughout Germany and a popular brand among German cycling enthusiasts. Therefore, the time was deemed ripe to look at other European countries as well. The products can already be found in a few countries, but the Netherlands and Belgium are the pioneers when it comes to the brand's brand new international appearance. These are the first countries in which this international line will be available to consumers. Gransier Bike Parts, a wholesaler in South Limburg in the Netherlands, supervises the launch and further care of the products.
